Colonel Possum made a comment about Liz's leaving.  He said: I always found Liz to be a gracious and beautiful person. Her positive light cast no shadows. I will miss her dearly.
I have to heartily agree.  My heart dropped when I read an article saying she had left.  I just want her to know that she was one of the reasons why I enjoyed Gather so much. Miz Liz always found time to read my articles and comment on my images.  She said positive things to me and that always made my day.  I'm sure others will agree.  I hope that someday she will come back to Gather.  She inspired me.  I hope that I grow up to be just like her.  She was someone who conquered so many fears including the fear of flying.  She got right in there and learned how to fly.  She wrote about her father and her special feelings for him.  The Liz I came to know was a sensitive soul, filled with love.   People like Liz attract happiness wherever they go.  I'd love for her to return to Gather.  Everyone truly loves her on here.  However, if she doesn't, I just want to tell her how much I admire her and wish her well.  Salud.

Liz is indeed a special person, intelligent and generous. Perhaps she, like others here, felt the need to step away and focus on the important things in life...REAL life.

Faith - boy, you said a MOUTHFUL there! I think too many folks get so wrapped up in this cyber village called Gather that they lose touch with reality "out there."

I agree. I think of Liz as a friend and a much respected artist. This nonsense has got to stop. Gather management has got to act. I was accused the other day if using cliche's but I'll do it again. "Evil men prevail because good me do nothing"

I'm so sorry to hear this. One could always count on Liz to be honest, kind and generous. It's true that there's Life Outside of Gather and I hope she is enjoying hers.

Thank you Paul L. for publishing your article as well. When Emmet, bless his heart, said why don't we use our energies writing articles about Liz, I did just that. All that other stuff is reminiscent of cheap chatroom drivel. Those causing the problem will self-destruct so why empower them. This is all about our beloved Liz. I want her to know that she mattered to us - she is missed. Salud.

I am unsure of why Liz left. I kinda heard parts here and there, but it's just too much crap for her to deal with. Hopefully people here on gather will grow up and we can all learn how to get along.

Stephanie - you got that right - I am wishing she will be back. As far as the garbage - I think some people are just born bullies & as I have said before they'll self-destruct. Amen to what you wrote, it was beautiful. I will miss her terribly as well. I'll try and drop her a line once in a while to see how she is doing, but having her here was the cat's meow.
