The Complete Idiot's Guide to the UFC...

Hey all,

Just joined gather.com last week, but thought it was cool to find a UFC fan group out here. I'm the co-author of the Complete Idiot's Guide to the Ultimate Fighting Championship. UFC star Rich Franklin and I are almost done with the manuscript (the deadline is Friday) and the book will be out by August. It's been a ton of fun writing with Rich and I think any fans of the UFC will have a good time checking out all the photos and techniques that Rich demos in the book.

Thanks, Jon - sorry I didn't see this article earlier... I've been slacking a little on this UFC fans group, but came by today to feature some articles. I want you to know that I've featured your article at this group, and I appreciate it so much! I bet it HAS been fun working and writing with Rich Franklin, I personally think you are one lucky guy. From what I've seen of him, he seems like he's such a nice, and totally down to earth guy. I felt SO bad for him when he lost his title! Thank you for letting me know about this upcoming book, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for it.

I'm not into the UFC (I didn't even know what it was until I clicked into your article), but I came over to look when I saw some interesting comments you made on another article. Welcome to Gather. There are some good writers over here and a lot of interest in books, so I think you'll enjoy it.

Have to love writers with a wide scope of topics under their belt. Now I want to see one of your Harlequin books with a UFC tie-in.
