I have spent the last 10 days away from home and have missed the pleasure of watching Buddy playing with Spike.
Spike has grown a bit since I last put up any photos

though Buddy still is about 20 times his size.

He has developed ways of keeping Spike entertained

and yet remains amazingly gentle with the little guy.

Even when the rough housing looks extreme

Buddy is sure never to hurt little Spike.

In spite of the fact that toys are the center of Buddy's world, he always shares

and never complains if Spike gets too rough.

He plays and pl
ays with the little one
until, little all babies, Spike exhausts himself and it's time for a nap.

Life just doesn't get better than this.

Joanne - thanks - someday I'll have to do an essay about the cats (we have 7) though mostly they are older and aren't quite as entertaining.

Well done!
Pam - thanks for commenting - you do know how rambunctious Buddy can be so can appreciate how special this experience is to watch Buddy being so gentle and loving with Spike.
