Hieroglyphics at the Golden Globes

I know I saw some hieroglyphics last night on the Golden Globes. They were on some woman's back near her left shoulder. I was hoping they were just something temporary, but I know I am wrong. I really don't know what the tatoos really were, but to me they just looked, well, tacky (to me).

And, speaking of Warren Beatty....oh, right, we weren't. But if we were, my take on him is that he was never as glamorous as everyone makes him out to be, and last night's rambling speech just about drove me to turn off the show. Sheesh! Just say "thank you" to everyone, be gracious and get the heck off the stage!

I'd rather hear other people's complaints about these shows than watch them myself -- it's much more entertaining.

Oh no, David. Award shows are such fun (except for the boring parts). Who's going to burst into happy hysterics and have to be ushered offstage, who's going to ramble on forever, who's going to show up drunk and dis the very program they got an award for? The year that Alan Rickman told off Rasputin while holding his award was worth all the displays of vanity. Besides, if you keep a book in your lap, you can read during the ads and the boring parts. (Lots of boring parts)
