Forever Odd / By Dean Koontz

 This book is another thriller but it was very interesting reading it. It was about a young man named Odd Thomas. She Dean made it to where it looked like that Odd had written this book. Odd was a cook that could see ghosts.He could see ghosts such as Elvis, and other famous people and people that stuck around after death on Earth Odd could see them.

 Anyhow Odd has a friend named Danny that has a bone diease. Danny's step dad got shot and came to Odd's house and somehow Odd learned by Danny's step-father that Odd had been kidnapped. As soon as Odd learned this he went off on a search at first the head cheif of the police department wanted to join him but Odd felt that it would be better if he went along on his own.

  While he is searching for Danny he finds a van that is empty so that was Odd's first clue. Where did Danny and the kidnapper go?  They must of went off on foot as the story goes along. od finds out it's not Danny's real daddy that had killed Danny's step- daddy. That is when  the book becomes really twisted.

 It ends up being a woman that Danny had talked to over the phone one of these sex lines. Danny had told the woman all about Odd seeing ghosts. So the lady kidnapps Danny with two other men to help her out. Then she calls Odd to tell him she has Danny and she wants to meet him to see the ghosts that Danny has told her about. This story ends up really good. I mean Odd comes and straights things out and gets Danny to get treated and everything and to tell him the truth about his step -father and that the kidnapper's had killed him befor kidnapping Danny.

 So if you are into ghost stories this is a book i am sure you will want to read.
