The Heart and Soul Of Gather

I want to call your attention to a great person here on gather.  Today is Kevin V.’s birthday.  He Lives in Massachusetts, and has been a member since March 14, 2006.

I for one could say that if there is one person above the rest who represents the heart and soul of gather, then it is Kevin V.  Actually Kevin did not want me to call attention to him.  He is a very humble man who just doesn't get it.  He doesn't understand how much he is loved and respected by the people here at gather.

Kevin runs several groups; gather member awards is just an example of how he appreciates others here on gather.  Each Friday time permitting, he gives an award to a person he feels represents the heart and soul of gather. 

I was the very second recipient of the award.  I know how good it made me feel so I can personally vouch for others who received the award as well. 

If you need to know anything about the running of gather, ask Kevin, if he doesn’t know he will find out for you.  If you are not that familiar with the computer ask Kevin he will help you with that as well. 

Yet the man remains humble and says he is just an ordinary guy.  Even though he did not want attention called to his birthday, he promised to get something out to me.  That is just the type of guy that he is.  Unfortunately, he had to move this weekend, and feels bad that he couldn’t get something ready in time. 

Can you imagine that, still putting the gather community above his own needs?

Kevin V.  You are my hero.  Happy Birthday my dear sweet friend.

Note to the birthday club members.  If you have not yet submitted your birthday dates to me please to so.  I need to prepare well enough in advance. Furthemore, when I send you the questions to do your celebration I need to have them back, at least one day prior to your birthday.
