I saw this hanging in one of my clients houses where i am watching their dog.
It provoked some strong feelings in me, my beliefs and the state of the whole
world today. I do not know the origins of where this piece came from or who wrote it
but it is not mine. I thought many of you that are connected to me may appreciate
this in the same way that i did. Enjoy!
Two Wolves
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said "my son the battle is between two "Wolves" inside us all."
ONE IS EVIL - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self pity, guilt
resentment,inferiority,lies,false pride,superiority and ego.
THE OTHER IS GOOD - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence,
empathy,generosity,truth,compassion and faith.
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:
"Which wolf wins?"
The old cherokee simply replied, " THE ONE YOU FEED"

Maybe a lot of us are going through this right now. Thanks!
Especially when someone really hits me the wrong way in something they say here on Gather! Coutnt to ten. Feed proper wolf!!
Thanks for posting this. I will do some thinking about it.
Oh, and I am finally home - wow, this dog-sitting stuff is a whole lot of work. But then, you already know that ;-)
I guess a lot of us are looking for that higher self and this really exspress's it.
Yes, it is a lot of work, but really rewarding if you enjoy the company of animals - which I do. Six dogs at once is alot though, however it was made easier by the fact they live in the country and the dogs roam their property rather than needing to be walked three or four times a day.
