Shannon could you maybe call the local elementary school and see if they have a Girl Scout Troop. You may be able to order online. I can check it out and get back to you. I do not have girls either. I saw it on the Ellen Show. I did take a troop one year years ago and I know they only do it once a year and it is the time ; ) I am trying to find some for us.
Janet, You can not order them online as it violates their fundraising guildes. Has to do with the status of being a non-profit organization.
I do suggest you call the local school and see if you can get the name of a leader and have them get girls to your area. This year is the second year you can get the cookies when you order (at least in the Fort Worth area I know this is now true). You might also want to see if there is a local headquarters they will also sell the cookies, the money won't go to a troop but directly to the overall funds, but still supporting girl scouts that way.

My favortie is thin mints too--but the box seems to get smaller and the price higher nearly every year. Usually there are girls selling the cookies outside of Kmart and Target and grocery stores. So, if you don't know a scout, you can get them there. Or call the girl scout office and place an order.
