Recently I've noticed I'm being bombarded with a new way of looking at life. It's coming to me from different sources, but they are all saying the same thing.
It all started with Neale Donald Walsch's book -- Home With God. One (of many) ideas that confronted the way I look at life is the idea of creating my own reality and drawing what I want to me through my thoughts. By thinking negatively, I only continue to draw those negative things to me.
I have been a fan of the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know," since it came out. I purchased the extended cut "Down the Rabbit Hole" as soon as it was released but only recently had the opportunity to watch it. I've only watched the first side of the 3-DVD set, but still, that idea of drawing things to me came at me. This time with a lot of scientific research to back it up.
This week I received my DVD from the Spiritual Cinema Circle in the mail. The feature film this month is "The Secret" which is all about the law of attraction and abundance. The third hit on this topic set my mind reeling about all the ways I wanted to make my life better by drawing more positive situations into it. I spent the evening writing about how I envision my life to be.
After having so many exciting thoughts...and, probably, too much caffeine, I couldn't sleep last night. Nothing much is on TV late on Saturday night, but I noticed that PBS was doing a Viewer's Choice. That's always a pot shot, but thought I would give it a try. And there I found Wayne Dyer discussing his new book "The Power of Intension."
That's it. That's sealed the deal. 2007 is going to be an amazing year for me. I am going to use the power of my thoughts, feelings, and visualizations to bring about the life I've always dreamed of.
