Favorite beer is Coors.
In southern Indiana we're under a flood watch.
Don't care for football. Although it's on constantly at my house.
Don't care for basketball.
I always work on Saturdays, have for the past 14 years.
Was up at 4:00am; definitely not sleeping in !
Favorite beer is Killians
Don't watch sports.
Don't work on weekends.
I guess 6:30 is sleeping in. Have to take daughter to the movie for her date with her Travis. Guess I will get my hair cut. Not my ideal Sunday
I am unclear as to the intent of this article. Is this:
1) A sincere attempt to welcome, greet and socialize with your fellow Gather members?
2) A form of satire?
3) An attempt to editorialize on the actions of other members?
Basically, what is your point?
Don't drink for the past 14 yrs, mostly because my answer to, "Do you drink?" got to be "not since they invented the funnel!"
Don't watch much TV, even less interested in sports - it's become too much about 'the money'
Weather is sunny and warm, around 60 degrees so far.
Hope you're having a great day!
I probably wouldn't have known it was morning without you, and I certainly would not have been able to put a smile on my face had it not been for this message. And now, because of your reminder, I will know that I am supposed to be nice to others. You have made the world a better place. I don't drink coffee so I am having a Coke. hee hee. Hope that doesn't break some sort of rule. I'll be back in an hour to make sure it is still today, and in two hours to see if you need any help working on tomorrow's message. Oh, and I will have a song in my heart - you guess which one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Timothy V. (I love how your name rhymes!) your article is obviously weighted toward sports fans, but I do drink coffee (Folgers, brewed) and we usually keep some weather on-hand. Today's is grey and damp.
I understand that a one-hour drive in any direction from here is what we need to see that winter is really here... except not "here"-here, but "there-here. Binghamton is stuck in perpetual November.
I am not frowning on his good will at all. If Timothy chooses to copy the words of others in a sincere form of flattery and to spread cheer and good will, then I would be more than happy to support him in any way that I can. However, in light of his recent article impugning articles of this type, I am simply questioning to what, or whom, we can attribute his reversal of opinion...or whether his opinion has changed at all.
It's important not to think too much about these things, Eric. Thinking only gets people in trouble.
Getting ready to watch the Bears vs the Seahawks ( thank God the Seahawks aren't wearing those ugly green uniforms )
I drank a few Natural Light tall boys last night.
I'm drinking Maxwell House coffee.
I don't have to work today.
It's been raining like hell here for the last 24 hours.
I've been dreaming of Sandy ( glad she isn't dicorcing me )
Eric..I need one of those thingamajiggies for my Pontiac Gooole ( I used to work in auto parts, and a guy pulled up in a Ponitac 6000 LE, and called it a Gooole )
Good morning Kevin !
It's like when I worked at Barnes & Noble, and folks would come in looking for "the white book, by the woman, about cooking..." Uh-huh! Sure! One of a million or so, but I have my whole shift to help you look... After all, the customer is always right and we are here to serve.
The library was even worse: "Do you know that children's story in rhyme, about the bear?" Billions of them. Let's narrow this down...
I never wanted to make the customer/patron feel bad, but sometimes it was hard not to laugh.
Shock was even worse, though. Do you remember The Raspberries?
One night, I was on the phone with my favorite DJ and we were talking about oldies; The Raspberries didn't immediately ring a bell for him, so I listed their biggest hits to jog his memory.
My poor maiden aunt only heard my end of the conversation at that point, and it went something like: "Let's pretend I wanna be with you and go all the way."
After we revived her, she was fine.
Mich GOlden Light at Mr. D's last nite. Hairball was there. 6$ cover? Hell, I paid 7$ to see KISS, ZZTOP, FOGHAT...
Daniel ... Is that a Les Paul in your avatar?
It's raining here.
I had pizza, Coke, and birthday cake earlier.
AND, although I didn't make a nursing home visit today, I did call. I also spoke with a friend on the phone and wished her a great day, smiled at a restaurant full of strangers, cooed over a baby I didn't even know, sent positive energy to a friend who was run over by a truck this week, and hoped for world peace.
I listened to some good music earlier, but didn't watch any sports.
I showered, brushed my teeth and hair, and have changed clothes three times today.
I agree with the person who said we should all publish our good morning messages each day, and think we should also publish our running diaries. Why should only one person be polite? And what if there really are people out there wondering what we do with each second of our lives? We shouldn't keep them in suspense.
Kevin, what makes you think it is your business WHY Timothy published this article? Do you ask that on all articles?
How about you? That's a pretty unusual instrument in your icon, and it doesn't look like something for beginners.
Dannielle...I'm with you. The jam sessions ae more fun than playing in bands. That's some sort of double neck guitar that Slash has there. He also borrowed one of those Gibson double necks from Jimmy Page for a gig once, or so I read.
Sandy...Of course they were good dreams. I like this good morning thing.
Gotta go...The second half of the Patriots / Chargers game is starting. The Chargers look tough, but Brady and the Patriots aren't backing down. Looks like a classic in the making.
Catch ya'll later on this evening.
My Good Evening article is forthcoming. Just hang in there Sandy.
Good Morning!!
Yes this avatar is my Les Paul. Most sensuous wood I have ever touched, except my own, hehe. The weight, the feel, the sight, the smell, the sound,,,,oh god! I'm so lonely...........Ummm where did that come from? Ahem..
Yes the Les Paul has no equal nor willever.
