Another Gather Birthday: Ruth P.

Today, January 13 is Ruth P’s birthday. Ruth is single and I live in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has been a member of Gather since August 8, 2006.

She has been "writing" since she was a teen, as she says it is “just as a hobby or to express the way I feel.”

Ruth was first inspired to write when she was a depressed teen.
 
Ruth’s hobbies comprise of reading and making various crafts.
 
Some of the other things that Ruth loves to do is cuddle up with a good book in bed when it is raining and have the cats snoozing at her feet. She says, “A good snooze can take you places you never been. I like to walk in the autumn time when the leaves are turning and just inhale the smells and the sight is wonderful when the leaves turn.”
 
Ruth’s pet peeves include some cell phone talkers, and rude uncaring people.
 

The one thing that Ruth would like to do that she has not already done is to visit Wales and Holland.

Unfortunately, Ruth cannot think of a birthday memory for us at this time.

Ruth magical birthday wish would be to “go to a mystical land of fairies. Like the one on "Lord of The Rings". I would fall in love with someone who looked like Orlando Bloom. We will have a mystical wedding. Together we would end all of the world sufferings by destroying the evil King and Queen of the land.”
  
Ruth will let Janelle pick the birthday song for her because she has so many favourites she couldn’t possible choose.
