Hello dear manoj: Thank you very much! We have missed you. . . !
I was reading about the purpose of cats' whiskers and one source said they actually used them to sense vibration and also, to measure the proximity of openings to let them know spontaneously, whether an entrance will accompany their bodies. If their whiskers do not comfortably (and immediately) fit (if the sides touch their whiskers, in other words), they move on. Isn't that interesting? Amazing how animals are fully equipped with what they need to survive. "Another way of seeing," yes, you're right! Thanks so much!
I love the picture. You are as lovely and mystifying as your work!

Sly dark and mysterious

I love your haiku. (You do this very well, you know)! Your haiku about the sluicegate was most touching and reverently done, I might add!
Thank you!
Your Panther Haiku sparked me off - you got an emotional reaction in my heart and the tight discipline of words whizzing through my head.
I went back to your photography today and spent a very long time studying your works. Great history with the picture of the sluicegate (and excellent haiku) coming all the way up to today with the gorgeous work you've done with the photos in the market. Not to mention the beauty of the dog picture nestled in its comfort, the shadow. . . I want to go back and study it more. The shadow reminds me of the strokes in calligraphy. Great capture, Malcolm! Thank you.
Wonderfully done, as usual!
even better! i love haikus, esp. when they're written so beautifully
