DVD Review-The Pledge

For all you Jack Nicholson fans out there, Jack delivers again, as usual a spectacular performance. He plays a cop who is supposed to be retiring. In the middle of his retiremnet party, the police are informed a little girls dead body has been found brutally murdered, laying in the snow. Immediately the police go out the find the child and bring in a retarded man who confesses to the killing, without really knowing what he's doing. The police are happy they've got their killer, but Jack doesn't buy it. He promises the girl's mother he will find the real killer. The story continues on with Jack always looking out and watching for signs of the real killer. He sets up housekeeping and meets a woman with a little girl. From that point, Jack thinks he's got it all figured out. He even convinces his ex- co-workers that he 's really on to something. Will he find the killer? That's for you to find out. This is an older movie, but if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend for both men and women.. I give it a ten!

Thanks for the review! I'm a Jack Nicholson fan and I thought this was something I should look for, but after reading your review...I'm almost certain I've already seen it. Who else is in the cast?
