On the broad road to nowhere - in a strange familiar land ,
I chanced upon a March Hare - it surely wasn't planned.
He was waltzing to the music - of a jazzy rock band.
He held his coat tail daintilly - and finger snapped his hand.
I asked him why he did so - for it looked so out of place.
He looked at me in puzzlement - but never slowed his pace.
He raised his brows and gave a shrug as if to say : she's dense .
He obviously thought my questions lacked intelligence.
So I hurried up to catch him - waltzing as I went,
The rock and jazz and waltzing - went on without relent,
Till it seemed in all the world - The most natural event.
Now if I heard the music straight - I'd think it rather bent.
Well - I wondered while I waltzed : is there a lesson to be learned?
So - I stopped awhile , and had to smile - a truth I had discerned:
You see the fundermental lesson - of this ludicrous procession,
Shows the logical progression - of the fashionable obsession:
There is a lot of cool cats - in the old rat race,
Who would rather be a rabbit - keeping step and saving face.

Bluey, this is just splendid!
What a rolicking adventure with great rhyming.
Wow...In the third and fourth last lines even the middles of the sentences rhyme.
That's really something.
