I was wondering if anyone has a favorite vintage cookbook? I really like my copy of LillyWallace New American Cookbook. It's the same book my Mom started cooking from. Mine is from the 40's.

the book is
heart in hand
by suzanne worsham
I also like Fannie Farmer
I have one old one that I never use,it was written in the mid 1800's,when everyone cooked on wood stoves...it has no temp. guides etc....I just enjoy reading it.
Lloyd, I agree BC ones are also great eats.
Ann, I like Fannie Farmer as well. I can't blame you for enjoying reading the one you have from the 1800's. I love to read cookbooks and the older ones are the best kind for that.
