Who Watched the Grease "You're the One that I Want" Premiere?

I was wondering if anyone else had a chance to see the new show last night.  I caught most of it but it was a channel flipping session between Desperate Housewives and Grease when it hit 9 o'clock.  Then I missed the Apprentice...anyway-if you saw the show what were your thoughts?  Any early favorites?

Never heard of it. The only channel that I watch is CBS and a few on satellite. Besides, I hate reality shows.

I never heard of it until yesterday. It's a little different in that the winners will be cast on Broadway, but very much like other similar shows in other ways

I love reality shows but this one just sounded stupid. There was too much to watch sunday and next week 24 starts on Sunday.

Robin...Bravo is advertising that they will be re-airing "You're the One That I want" on Thursday nights but I didn't get the time. You might check your local listings.

I just saw the last of the episode, but I really, really hated the catch line, "You're the one we want for Grease academy" or "You're not Sandy." That's a little corny even for reality t.v. This could be like American Idol in that the winners could begin big showbiz careers. A leading role in a Broadway revival that's sure to have a great run is very much like having a #1 album.

The ladies of my house were watching it and I couldn't help seeing it. I didn't catch the name of the people I thought were pretty good. It's like Idol or other show. Sometimes they are mean to the contestants which I don't really like. I also think they should screen the really bad ones first before airing, but people seem to enjoy watching even the bad ones or these shows wouldn't do so well.

I agree with Amanda that the "you're the one that I want" "you're not Sandy" was corny.
