I hadn't had time to read the sports page today. Watching Pats-Jets now. I lived in Seattle for just one year so I kind of got to like the Seahawks, but I grew up in New England and live there again now, so Mr. Tom Brady is my hero. Thanks for this article because I knew the score was 21-20 but hadn't looked at the game's details yet. Now I don't have to!

I only say the last 6 minutes of the game. I think we saw everything that was important. I was happy about it though. I will root for anyone over the Cowboys. Okay, I am going to hide now so those rabid Cowboy fans can't find me.

Autumn--honestly it truly did break my heart to see the way he was handling it before the game was even over. He suffered a pretty nice cut on his hand and didn't even take care of that--just let it bleed all over as he hung his head. I do feel he is better than Bledsoe, for sure, but I really wanted them to win. Especially against the Seahawks.

Rich--you better get off my article with that mess! HAHA just kidding. Tom's a pretty good dude. I don't really watch much other than the Cowboys and the *gasp* Lions.

Shanny--I go from sappy to sports in a matter of minutes (ok a day). Watch out! I'm a little worldly, I guess. :)

You better hide, Nanci, because I watched every minute of that game, and saw my 2nd-favorite team go down in the same wacky way my favorite team, Oklahoma, did. I figure the Lakers will lose in the playoffs on a last-second, court-length 3-pointer, and the Angels will lose in the playoffs on a walk-off grand-slam vs. their best reliever. I'll be avoiding Vegas this year.

This is the time of the year when great quarterbacks shine and mediocre one's fade. Romo's flub and Pennington's total ineptitude were evident yesterday and as usual Tom Brady metamorphasized into the Lord of the Rings...#4, perhaps...one Manning choked and the other is sure to choke, also, before this is done...Chicago has no quarterback, period...San Diego has a great team, but, it's quarterback is merely a pretender. Philly's Garcia could be Romo: Part Deux before this is all said and done, yet, he might be for real...the Eagles have the tools now that they've been exorcized of that worthless dropper of passes, Terrell Owens...and Donovan is on the sidelines...maybe he and Michael Vick can get together and decide whether they want to be quarterbacks or running backs...because they're half the one and half the other, but, not fully either...knowing them they'll probably figure out a way of throwing the ball, running to the spot where they threw the ball and catching it...thus, becoming quarterback, running back and receiver...this way the rest of the team can get some burgers, fries and some brewskies and sit by the cheerleaders and just watch the game. New Orleans Debrees looks like the real deal and than there's Reggie Bush...the only lovable Bush in our' galaxy. The Saints are the sentimental favorites...that would be some story! Yet, in the real world trods a giant among quarterbacks and he plies his mean skills up north...out of the New England snows comes a figure from the blizzard with 3 gleaming rings whose glare blinds the opposition and by his side the man they call Bruschi also with 3 gleaming rings...this time of year they leave their native habitat and roam the land in search of another gleaming ring. Will they get it? I'll not wager against them...no not I.

Pennington lost that game single-handedly...did you see the fourth quarter?

Well, yeah it's a good thing. I just like saying the word in that context sometimes. My new home is wonderous. It's so much bigger than the apartment we lived in...oh man. It's so perfect. Well, a baby would make it perfect, but that's in due time. We get married in 6 freaking months though. How did the time sneak up on us like that?

okay, mitch. i will be the first to admit that the EAGLES have their issues. and im not really a football fan but i DO support the home team(s). i watch their season opener and the playoffs. when they lost the super bowl a coupla years ago i knew it would be their last chance. that game was practically GIVEN to them and they threw it away. but then on the other hand they ARE a strong team and if they would just focus on their tiny quirks they could possibly, POSSIBLY make it to the super bowl again.
