I have posted recently about my husband starting back his second semester in college. He is studying for Pastoral in our local church's seminary. His attire has to be dress shirts and suits/sport jackets along with a tie. He goes through shirts quickly. Not to mention, he is a big and tall so we usually shell out alot of money to find the right size for him, and it will last no longer than a year's wear.
I have found on jcpenney.com that they are having a super weekend clearance sale. I went to the site yesterday to purchase some dress shirts and found an "after-Christmas clearance sale," where the shirts were $12.99 ~ a great bargain. But I put off buying. I called our local store and was told that they have those same shirts for $21.99. Wow! what a price difference.
Well, I decided it was now or it would be too late if he were to need these for school. So I went back online to find them again. I couldn't find the after-Christmas sale. Instead what I found was the super weekend clearance sale. I am so glad I waited! Instead of buying the shirts for $12.99, I paid $10.99! That is a 50% off of regular retail price! By ordering 4 shirts online and having them shipped to my home, along with tax, I paid a total of $57.31. Had I gone to J C Penney at the mall, I could have bought 2 shirts for $48.00. $9.00 more gave me 4 rather than 2. I'd say that's a good deal.
If you are needing clothes, whites, etc., don't wait too long! Check it out before the sales are all gone.
