regarding "jessica mc clintock"

Okay girlies! I just listened to the last podcast and was dying!!!! I also wore a "jessica mcclintock" / "gunne sak" dress to my prom. The high lace neck and all! I am in the midst of trying to find a picture to post on here of it so maybe we can compare dresses. I know it was years ago, and they are a far cry from what the girls wear today but I think it would be a hoot. The only thing is don't look at my eyes, I wasn't exactely shall we say sober? Yeah that would cover it. LOL! I wanted to go to my prom so bad, but my date was not my first choice. Oh well, you know what they say, nobody's ugly after 2am (or a bottle of champagne! LOL)

Those days are long gone for me and I am a very happy and dedicated mom to my children. But I had to make a comment when I heard that on the podcast, it just made me smile and chuckle out loud.

You too were donning the high lace to the prom???HA-HA. I bet that makes us around the same age. Class of '87?

I worked at the Ups N Downs in the mall (store no longer exists) but I loved it because I got a discount on my prom dress, my flowered BONGO jeans and a Body Glove fluorescent bathing suit!

Do you know I just saw a Jessica McClintock store at our local mall! The dresses were way more "sexified" then mine. I'll also have to pull out the photo album.

yep class of 87! and right there with ya with the flowered jeans, but mine were the rocky mountain flowered jeans. LOL, I had tons of bongo jeans too.

and as far as sexified, mine was so NOT sexified! !LOL! Got to find that picture! EEK!

I am a class of '87 Bongo flowered jeans too! My prom dress had black spaghetti straps, and I had this brilliant idea to cut them off and go strapless. Unfortunately, I am very flat chested and was not able to keep the dress up!

oh my! so as I spent the evening trying to keep myself up, you were trying to keep your dress up. Boy sounds like we all had fun huh? LOL!!! =0)

I know, it's been total chaos around here! My children are karate chopping each other as we speak and my head is going to explode! ARGH!!!!! I really need a vacation! You know one of those beach ones where you read the trashy novels and the kiddies are with a nanny? Yeah, no nanny? Me neither, but a girl can dream can't she? LOL! I will do my best to get that pic posted tomorrow. love ya girl!

Okay Ladies, I found ONE, and it is just Godawful, but I found one and I did post it. I cannot believe I did, but I did, NOW YOU MUST POST YOURS! This is not the best angle, I was doing good to sit up at all if I remember correctly, this was 20 years ago. LOL. I will keep looking for a better one. LOL. Get a good chuckle though, I surely did.
