If I don't get enough restorative sleep, I can always judge how tired I am by my ears. Sounds funny, I know. It is not funny to live with though, and on certain days it just about drives me nuts. Today is a two ringing ear day, hence the post about it. If I write, then it takes my mind off the torturous ringing.
There is never any definitive reason for it, other than it is part of the "joy" of having fibromyalia. On a good day, only my right ear will ring, and just a tiny bit. Most people (not me) can just lay down or take a nap and feel better, but sometimes that just makes me feel even worse.
Anyone have an axe? I would like to chop off my head now. (just kidding!) ![]()

Thanks for the empathy from you both.
I don' t ring, I get the feeling that someone punched me in the face. This fibromyalgia thing really attacks so many is so many different ways it is frightening. If you can hear me over the ringing, please take care of yourself. Maybe try some moist heat on the ears, it might just help. Take care of yourself and keep those ears in place. I know it can be distracting. The previous surgery also left me with what I call a mouse in my head. I often hear a tiny squeak on the left side where they replaced my jaw joint. Fortunately it is not constant like the ringing but I certainly understand the desire for it to be gone. Be well, we care!
