This Clematis, 'Mrs. Cholmondeley' is cordially requesting your presence at the deFLeur Portaits Collection, soon-to-be a part of  http://secretmoonart.blogspot.com and she assures you that the full view of this image will be readily available for viewing with great ease.

Tea or latte optional...BYOL, if you prefer, and kick off your scuffs with the puffs, pull up your leg-warmers, watch the cat curl up on top of the monitor, and mosey through the Gallery at will sprinkling comments as you go...if you wish.

An UPDATE will be posted here to announce 'Mrs. Cholmondeley' has been placed en gallery in full, and if all goes well this feat is to be accomplished by Friday evening or Saturday, latest.

For no good reason Blogger doesn't want to open its comment box. Sigh. I love the masses of lilac and purple fibrous, delicate veins that make up the petals and give them a fertility that is so rich and so alive.

oooooohhh, Jude! How extraordinarily lovely! I went to the secretmoonart site and among the wonders there I fell very hard for the Pirmula V. (moonlight, fairy and all!) I do so love clematis and primula and bluebells and forget me nots and roses and on and on. And I do so love your work! Thank you, dear girl!
