5 guys burgers and fries in Tampa.

We've had thier double burgers before, and they are very good.  The fries are even pretty good, even though I'm not a fry guy.  I like the fact that burgers are cooked to order.  The particular location hasn't done well in the past, but who knows, maybe it will do well.  I like to get Barbeque sauce and Jalapenos on my burger, while my wife likes to get Mustard and Tomato on hers.

Have eaten there several times but I like the burgers at Bennigan's or the old Hop's much better!

I'm simply not interested in burgers that were pre-formed, and only want to eat burgers that were hand patted immediately before cooking. There are two bar and grill joints in the neighborhood that do this and offer a variety of toppings. My favorite is sour cream and caviar, followed by blue cheese and mushrooms.

Dorine, my mother makes fantastic homemade burgers, and legend has it, so does Walker's ex-wife! ;-) He make me a hand-made burger last time I was here and called it a Mary Burger after that story. haha He says Mary makes fantastic pumpkin pies too.

The hamburgers are pretty good, my wife and kids love them.
