THREE GREAT GIFTS
We all want the same thing:
A sense of joy and peace.
God gave us three great gifts
To receive this joy and peace:
Life, love and free-will.
All the problems in life
Come about by not knowing
What we really want,
Or what God wants from us;
From there we just get confused.
In the end we finally understand;
These wants are really the same:
To receive joy and peace
By wise use
Of our three great gifts:
Life, love and free will;
Enjoying life,Loving freely,
And making good choices.
There are no rules,
Only lessons;
And the main lesson
Is to growIn compassion,
Forgiveness,
And reconciliation;
Of what we want
And what God wants.
We can’t do thisThrough our minds,
Only our hearts.

I think that most of us do not learn these lessons before 40 with the ability to look back and see all the grace we received instead of judgment. I pray that everyone would open their hearts and learn that giving really is receiving.
