I was visiting the Dooce blog*, where she posts some interesting featured links and spotted this one.
I want to be THIS GOOD.
(In fact, I am going to post this to my biz blog, because everyone has to know)
*I read Dooce because she is a great writer, and she makes me laugh. After looking at some of her older posts to get an idea for how I would describe her, I recommend that you read
this one and decide for yourself!

Corina, you comment that your daughter has a good eye for photography. I've been thinking about photography lately and how much of it comes down to natural artistic ability. I'm beginning to think that it's not as much as I used to think - don't get me wrong - it does take a lot of artistic ability. Here's what I've been thinking. I married into a photography family. My father-in-law has been in the photography business for going on 35 years. He really doesn't strike me as an artistic person in any other way. My husband is now in the business to and it gone most weekends in the summer shooting weddings. (He had one last night on New Years Eve in the middle of a snowstorm!). Greg, my husband, is not artistic. What I think they possess is almost more of a mathematical and spacial sense. Some of us see the beauty of a picture as a whole. I think they are able to break it down into lines and proportions and amount of light. It's almost very technical for them, yet, they both, especially my father-in-law have some incredible pictures. I really don't consider either of them to be artistic people. I've come to realize that a person doesn't necessarily have to be what most of us would call "artistic" to still be a good photographer. I've always loved taking pictures but doing weddings and families and senior pictures would bore me. It's a bright sunny morning with 6" of fresh snow on the ground (note this is the first sunshine we've had since Dec 26th and our first REAL snow of the year). I'm itching to get out there with my camera.
Just some thoughts I've had lately that I wanted to share. Hope you all have woken up to as beautiful of a morning as I have.
Glad everyone enjoyed these as much as I have.
Thank you, I accessed both links...good photos and humor.
