More Responsibility

I am so upset right now.  The people who are responsible for the highways around this area are being very irresponsible.  There are several spots around the highways here that are badly in need of repairing.  There are potholes (ones that look like they could swallow a car), there are guard wires in the median that have been broken for a while now, and there are generally bad roads.  Just the other day someone was killed less than a minute away from here ( a road that my husband and I travel very often) and it was said that the people might have survived had the median barriers been repaired.  I just don't understand why they don't at least begin repairing the roads that are the most damaged.  What do you guys think about this and are there any ideas as to what can be done?

maybe contact the city and see what their repair schedule is, or start a petition. sometimes you have to yell pretty loud to be heard by municipal bodies.

I will have to try contacting them. I hope that it will light a fire under them and get them to pay more attention to the roads and save some lives.
