HGM, Now you're becoming a 'master' of the shorts! This may be short but it's more in what is not said. The imagery is poignant - if one has to simply endure the drone of the radio - it sure reinforces the aloneness! Well done in saying so much by saying little!
Nice Haiku, Moya. I read Olumide's comment, but I see it differently. I see someone who is lonely and seeks comfort in the sound of the radio although not really listening to it. The fact that sound is there gives the person a feeling of not being alone.
