If I were making a resolution, I'd resolve to stop letting stupid crap get to me. But, let's face it, R\resolutions pretty much fit under that label. After all, is there anything more stupid than making a resolution you've made every year for the past 35 years? I think once you reach a certain age you realize that perhaps resolutions shouldn't be saved for some special arbitrary day. If I let it get to me that I'm not obeying my resolution, I'm letting stupid crap get to me. So then I'm breaking my resolution. It becomes a vicious cycle.
If I were making a resolution, I might resolve to be a nicer person. But, if I were a nicer person, that would mean I'd be putting up with stupid crap. That might mean that it is getting to me. Of course, if it really didn't get to me, well that would mean I'm still either drunk or hung out from New Years.
I could resolve to spend more time with extended family, but once again stupid crap and being bothered by it comes into play.
That's why I'm not making resolutions.ÂÂÂ
Well, that and the fact that I'm too lazy to think of a good resolution
