I have decided to make several New Years Resolutions this year. Some I may keep but others may be more difficult to follow through on.
- The most important resolution I want to make is that I plan on spending more time with my family. Not just the immediate family, but my aunts, uncles and cousins too. They are just as important. I really need more contact with my brothers and sisters as I learned the hard way the Monday after Thanksgiving when my sister decided to end her own life. I feel that I lost a friendship that could have been there only if I had made more of an effort and to take the time without using excuses to just be there for my sister.
- I really would like to quit smoking, not only for myself, but my family as well. I want us all to be healthy and if I quit smoking, I could get Satellite Internet with the money I would save and even make more money online by being able to view webpages much much faster than Dial up.
- I am going to make a true effort at getting our family finances back in order so that we are not so far behind in bills. I am tired of bill collecters calling 30 times a day.
I know that these may be hard to work on, but they are all goals that are attainable even if they seem difficult to attain. I just need to get my will power out of the closet and dust it off and get the motor running again so I can get my resolutions in order and accomplished.
I hope all my gather friends also have goals that they want to accomplish with the New Year abound. You have my support and encouragement to follow through on everything you want to accomplish.

I'm sorry for your loss...I know what it's like to lose someone to suicide...my step-brother, whom I was very close to, ended his life 11 years ago. All I can say is it does get easier to stop questioning yourself & remember them well as time goes by.
If you beleive you will achive... I have over come so much by just beleiving in my self and I too know that can also just start small and put them down on paper and what everything happen as you make your efforts
Much Love and Prayers

I also love the goal of spending more time with the family, I think we all need to do this. One of my greatest change will be to be more humble and more caring. There are just so many resolutions....
NWJ Keep UP the good work and God bless (+=-)
New Year resolutions are fine, but if find yourself wavering ,do pray.
If you know how to pray it is easy.
Otherwise assume God is your nearest relation and tell Him (or Her)all your problems.
Rest assured he does listen .
All things become easy if you know how to make him listen.
Do give it a shot
