Author Sam Harris wrote a bestseller called "The End of Faith" arguing that religious faith has always been beyond reason and dangerous. He goes on to say that secular Americans who tolerate religion make the problem worse. Bill Radke talks with Harris in front of a big Christmas display about what this season means to him.

If any of you had common sense, you'd realize the fact:
If christianity is so good, why do you have to try and shove it down everyone's throat?
Most of you are just weak-minded individuals who need a group around you to validate your beliefs.
This man does not hate god, because there is no god!!!!
As late as the 1920's people in the US who questioned the existence of God would be excommunicated. As late as the 1960's it was illegal in some states to teach evolution in schools. The tide is just turning in America.
To state that the belief in God is a Delusion is not dangerous, it is a simple fact whose time has finally come. Someone has to put their foot down and that foot is Sam Harris!
There is danger is when religion holds control of government and over peoples lives. Christianity in America no longer has the influence it once did, but if it had the same power as say radical Islam has in some Arabic countries we in America would be repressing women and waving swords just as we can see happening to them. Radical Islam is just a wakeup call to Americans that that very same thing can happen here if we are not careful.
It is only fair in America that people finally see this point of view. It is a call to reason rather than relying on Bronze Age mythology as your moral compass.
Islam was created hundreds of years after Christianity so moderate Muslims would be more similar to Christians than we are to them but you are right religion has no place in government and neither do anti religious people like Sam Harris the best form of government is in between
