Spike on Christmas Day - photo essay (9 pics)

Today was the perfect day for all the dogs to get bathed, and this included little Spike. Not only did he get cleaned up but also had to tolerate the hair being cut off around his eyes so that he can see a little better.

Spike drying off and warming up, all snuggled in a towel.

Then it was time to romp on the couch.

The big dogs were playing in the living room

and Spike just wanted to join in.

Buddy being just a big, affable clown, was happy to oblige.

Spike just couldn't believe his luck

Soon enough, Buddy wandered off, as big brothers are wont to do

Not only would this be fun to read with little children, but there are now books and recordings and videos for pets - I'm sure you must know about this already - but maybe haven't thought about publishing in that venue? You GO!

LOL, Tonia, I use to have two poodles, Sparkie - a miniature and Peachie - a teacup, and every time we did bath day, they went in and romped on the couch together, rubbing their little bodies all over it to get that nice new smell off them. LOL

Hi, what adorable pets you have. I have two male dogs now, rescues from the humane society and I am looking to bring in a new addition to my family. This time my new baby will be a female english mastiff. Such wonderful dogs they are. I am having a problem finding a reputable breeder in arizona or very close by. Any suggesions???

Karen - in regards to finding a breeder of English mastiffs - I know that many breeders will ship puppies - this website may be a good place to find more information about breeders, and possibly rescues - http://www.mastiffweb.com/
