My Dear Wife is Ill, Christmas Eve Prayers Please...

Christmas Eve Prayers Please...

 

            My wife is ill. I think it is a sinus infection plus. She is sleeping now she was only up for ½ hour today.  She called the Dr's office on Thursday and they said sure come in, but with Cash... I didn't get paid till Friday afternoon. They said "sorry".

True, she won't die, but I worry about her and hope she feel at least a little better for Christmas.            If she does get worse I will take her to the Hosp. there at least they can not turn her away.

Her name is Leslie; please include her in your thoughts and Prayers this day.

"Update" Christmas Day......

She is doing very well, not 100% but 80%+ so I am very relived, and we had a wonderful morning with the children opening their presents.  Our children were very good and my Daughter said "this is the best Christmas, because I get to spend more time with my family".

Hi Emmett,

When a loved one is ill we really learn what is important in life. Even though, as you said, it isn't life-threatening.

How many of us would give all of our the gifts we receive at Christmas for one day pain-free.

Emmmet....my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your wife at this time. I've had many sinus infections and know how miserable they can make you. Often it helps to steam the bathroom. rub her hear and cheeks with VICKS and let the warmth send the vapors into her sinus' to loosen the poison there. If you can relieve some of that pressure, she should be able to get along until she can see a Doctor. Keep a close eye on her and keep her temperature down and she should be OK until she see's a Doctor on Tuesday. Good luck and God Bless!
