I miss... riding around in a "muscle car" with the 8-track cranked up on the latest Creedence Clearwater Revival album.
I miss... peasant tops - the real ones, not the ones the kids wear now
I miss... parting my hair in the middle and wearing it long and straight
I miss... going to the drive-in and sometimes even having dusk to dawn marathons
I miss... driving up and down "the drag" on Friday nights, my boyfriend doing burn outs at the red light while I sat in the middle next to him
I miss... our favorite radio station in the Kansas City area, WHB, the World's Happiest Broadcasters
I miss... chili dogs and root beer at Dog 'n Suds - the chili stained anything it touched a luminous orange
I miss... Flip Wilson
I miss... the downtown Halloween Street Dance and dancing with "older" guys who were out of school
I miss... the dragstrip on Saturday afternoons and the sound and smell of the fuel line dragsters
I miss... Laugh In - it really impacted our culture... sock it to me, verrrry interesting, here come da judge
I miss... sitting on the front porch on hot summer nights with a glass of ice tea, listening to the little night critters
I miss... my Dad.

In Atlantic Canada in about '75-76 smock tops and dresses were popular. it is late here so am too tired to think of anything else
