The one they found
in the field?
Was it still alive?
Mm-hmmm
The baby that was
found in that field.
Was it just small?
It might be.
Mm-hmmm
A reporter?
(pause)
Depressing.

Now we all know how you feel about him..........
It is interesting the things one overhears in stores. I particularly notice parents interactions with their children. Although I have no children I think this actually makes me more observant of these interactions. It brings to mind the proverb, "A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." In my observations of parental interactions with children (both with people I know and strangers) I find this to be very true.
About the people you overheard in the store, where they perhaps at a jewelry counter? ;)
