Cyberian Officials

Cyberia does not have elections. Cyberia has auctions. These are one of the many methods by which Cyberia keeps taxes as low as possible.

Each year, Cyberia holds yearly auctions for representatives, senators, executive officials, and judges. The auctions are held on gbay. These auctions are a major source of income for the Cyberian government.

For example, the office of President is offered and purchased on gbay. The winning bidder becomes president for the coming year.

At first glance, this system might seem to benefit large corporations and very rich individuals of undeserved inherited wealth. However, the common people of Cyberia fight back by forming Gangs and pooling their resources to elect representatives (known as Gangsters) to defend their interests against the representatives of corporations (known as Fat Cats) and the representatives of people of underserved inherited wealth (known as Plutocats).
