I should have learned my lesson after my last article.

I could care less about WWMD, but I'll play along.
WWMD: if he suffered another "I'm talking to God seizure", he would go out and kill all the infidels that don't wipe their butts with the same type of stone that he has ordained as the proper stone, or maybe he would go behead some women who had the audacity to go to school or show an ankle in public, or maybe he wound send one of his henchmen into a movie theater to kill yet another gathering of infidels watching an evil American action movie....

He wouldn't ask for mercy and he wouldn't' say he was sorry.....as he dose not expect that from us....or anyone else, for that matter. Hanging is really too good for him and I am afraid he is looking at it like it will make him a martyr in history to his countrymen - just as I feel Hitler felt...he will not be forgotten....if he were left to rot in a cell like the hole they found him it - it would be a better thing for everyone.

Pat Robertson has wierd take on this -- sometimes I think he's the only human being out there who has taken a consistent view on the war -- but that may be a tinge of zionism -- I really don't know that he falls into a neat category on anything -- anybody?

I was going to say though that my "imaginary muhammad" would have kinder and gentler view of the world -- unless of course we're talking about fundamentalism--just as my "imaginary jesus" has a much more serene and nonjudgmental view of human nature than the real fundamentalist one.

Speaking primarily for myself, but I think we could all benefit from a course in world religions.

Back to WWMD.... I believe he would cry at the killing done in his name, likewise Jesus would cry at the killing done in his name, both names have been used to justify killing throughout history. Muhammad did fight to defend himself and to defend his followers from oppresion, which muddied the waters a bit more later in time for his followers, especially for the "fundies". Jesus may have fought also, but his foe would have been ultimately the Roman Empire not the local merchants association. We know what the Romans did at Masada. Jesus followers were a much smaller group of people. Jesus did fight oppression also, with stories and living his life and in dying. Muhammad and Jesus both knew God's peace was more than the lack of killing. I will add holding your hand from killing when you are so angry you want to is the start. (The U.S. did not do this)
WWMD? Don't know. WWJD? Don't know that, either. Never met either of them. Ask them, what do they say that they'd do?

None of you have a clue who Muhammad was. Jesus once said to the Jews, "If you had known Moses you would know me". Likewise if you really knew Jesus you would know Muhammad. There is only ONE God and there is only ONE mankind. Hence religion is ONE. The founders of all the great religions are all the same. Each is the 'return' of the one before. It is man who causes all the problems - the wars, the hatred, the prejudice, the ignorance. There is nothing wrong with any religion as it was revealed by its founder; it's the followers who corrupt the original teachings, believing that they and only they have access to the truth. Ignorance and prejudice are the greatest sins today. Remember what Jesus said, "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear it now; howbeit when He the Spirit of Truth is come, He will guide you unto all truth.
