Since it is that time of year where people are getting Flu shots and stuff I felt the need to wonder why people would want to inject themselves with a virus or a disease.
I do not vaccinate my children. My daughter came very close to dying from receiving here 2 month set of vaccines. My pediatrician just kept on telling me that colds and viruses were going around and not to worry. She was sick for months and months. We would stay up late sometimes taking 2-3 hot showers with her so she could breath. We had 3 humidfiers going in the house. we had tried everything and nothingwas making her better.
Finally she was coughing so bad that her face was turning blue I called the on call pediatrician and again he told me that same stuff. Hot showers baths, blah blah blah. We finally took her in to be seen and we were told she had whooping cough and her immune system was very low and she was close to dying. After wards I took her to see a Naturopathic doctor who gave her some medacine and literaly she was feeling better in 3 days and back to her own self.I reported her incident to VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System) and then I did some research online and read some books about not immunizing your children.Needless to stay both of my children have been sick free with an occasional cold, and vaccination free for two years. I was shocked at a lot of the imformation that I had found, and heart broken over the stories that I had read or heard.
I am not a peson who feels that everyone should not vaccinate or look down upon those who do. I do believe in the Bill or rights and everyones freedom to choose what they want to do with there lives and there childrens.
I am just wondering what your thoughts are on vaccinating , and why you choose to get them or why you don't vaccinate. I am also not looking for people to bash others upon what they choose to do. I would just like to hear what other people have to say.

I have my children vaccinated. Two of them had sever reactions to the vaccinations...
My son had a reaction to the chicken pox vaccine which put him in the hospital for a week, on quaranteen for a month and made me lose my job due to having to stay home with him.
Then my now 5 year old had a reaction to her shots a couple of years ago and she still has lasting effects from it... She had her kindergarten shots done which included 6 shots in all if i remember correctly, so which vaccine she had the reaction to I will never know there were too many dont at once..
Well, within a week of receiving her shots, she came down sick and started running fevers. She ended up having a febrile seizure... Now what is crazy about this is now, anytime she runs even a 99. fever she has to stay home and under constant supervision due to if her temp hits 100 it will spike very quickly and we only have minutes to get the fever down or she goes into a seizure. I know this is called a febrile seizure, but I believe the vaccinations she received just before this started happening is what has caused this all to happen.
