a-browsing I did go...

I've been searching all day trying to find out if there is some reason that windmills in Ireland spin clockwise instead of counterclockwise and have come up empty. I've tried Ireland search engines, ask.com, google, lycos, yahoo... and still I do not have the answer. But after what I found, I could plan a vacation to Cyprus or the Canary Islands as the pictures I saw are quite interesting and I'd love to go there myself to take photographs.

I started my endeavor around noon and I was about to just give up when I clicked on a link and it took me to this wonderful website called bamjam, which has been put together by a couple from the Netherlands. It is absolutely awesome. Their hobby is traveling and they have not only traveled to many unique places but they took photos to share with all of us. I spent the last 45 minutes wandering around the site, thinking it was a travel agency and eventually they were going to try to sell me something. It never happend, and as it turns out, they are not trying to sell anything, just share photos of their travels and bits of information about each place they visit.

Their site is called BamJam.  I enjoyed their pictures, and although I did not find out the answer to my windmill question, I did take the time to email them and ask if they knew the answer.
