I was just watching the news and there was another story on child predators. The scary thing is that although I love my state, I can't believe that Jessica's law was not passed. I can't begin to count the many child preditors in this state (although the lillegals here aren't tracked in any way). Until they pass this law and do something more to protect the children, there will be more crimes against kids. Although, I don't have kids, I shudder to think what will happen to these kids if something more isn't done. I just wish someone could tell me the governor's reason for not getting Jessica's law passed. If you ask me it seems like he either doesn't care (I hope that this isn't the case) or it is something more political. I think that it is our duty to see to it that the children are protected.

Hope NC passes that law eventually.
