I just got word that a Toronto, Ontario judge has banished a Christmas tree from the lobby of a provincial courthouse, because she deems it a "Christian symbol" that might alienate those of other faiths who enter the building.
Can you believe that???????????
Judge Marion Cohen demanded that a small artificial tree on display at 311 Jarvis St. be placed in a back hallway, out of sight.
Maybe, Christmas trees are going to go on the endangered species list.

Seems that The Political Correctness Police are really trying to take Christmas away from Christians. Nobody seems to fuss when a Jewish mennorah is displayed, or Kwanzaa is observed.
That is NOT a knock on other religion's displays or observances. I just find it frustrating when a symbol of a Christian holiday--or the holiday itself--is singled out for censorship.
We all have a right to celebrate whatever holiday we choose, and to have appropriate displays to show our beliefs.
Did Judge Cohen not consider that Christians may be alienated by this action?
Anyway, have a Merry Christmas, Martha.
