There are these people it seems, who don't care about anything but themselves. And they have no hesitation to announce their position to the world but have learned that the world doesn't care about their position. So they pretend they have some deep understanding that gives them just the right perspective on everything. Thing is, just the right perspective keeps turning out to be they don't care about anything but themselves, only now it looks like they're saying others care too much.
Uncaring people, we get it. You are disillusioned and wimpy and you want that to be the only smart way to be. We heard your snide remarks. We heard your belittling insults. We heard your cynical whimpering. It's old now.
You aren't smart for being like that. You're pathetic. You deserve some sympathy and some encouragement, but not respect. Whatever clever mental gyrations you have botched so badly that they leave you bitter and scornful of those who still struggle to overcome the harsh realities of life cannot be seen as nobble sacrifice. It's childish tantrum throwing, nothing more.
When you try to convince others that their caring is pointless and in vane, you reveal no wisdom or maturity. You reveal a grown up that never did. A defeated child that refuses to take their share of the load of societies difficult task of justifying itself, by doing what is right and kind and pure.
But you are something else as well. Cause you do not just fail to act as responsible members of your species, you actually try to make that more difficult for others to do. You discourage and defame those that seek goodness and honor. You rail against the attempts by others to strengthen the resolve of their fellows, and try to undermine their efforts.
You are a huge part of what is going wrong in the world. Even if you don't steal the tangible things you crave. Even if you don't blow up the physical structures and people. Even if you don't cut the actual living throats of the ones who speak up for righteousness. You are thieves and terrorists and murderers.
Shame on you.

I wonder how many of them will comment here, not knowing you're talking about them?
Any hints?
I was threadjacking to some whimsical articles so people could decompress and smile or chuckle. Then come back refreshed for new battles.
(your icon is cute as hell)
How sad.
While we don't always agree, and I understand your frustration entirely, your voice is one that should be profusely available in the world. Especially this one.
Fare the well, Friend.
Ten unsolicited points from the world's worst connection. Merry whatever you celebrate!
