Antique religious 3D glass or 3 scene framed glass-HELP???

Can you help identify this Antique? It is one framed piece. When you look straight on, you see MadonnfileId:3096224743978181;size:full;a and child, from the right Jesus, from the left Mary. What type of item is this called?

Wish I could help, it's gorgeous. It reminds me of a triptich, an old alter piece, but condensed into one frame

I think Laura is on to something...the name escapes me but I recall an old family friend having one of these and a neighbor trying her best to obtain the picture. Apparently it was an antique and worth a nice amount. I think I'd take this to an antique dealer to see what they can tell you about it. Then come back and share your information with us!

It is a triptych -possibly the work of Ioan Popei but then again, it may be a much older piece, can't tell from this vantage point. . .

I might be able to do some research if I could see what I am looking at. Try replacing the photos with photos that have been brightened with a photo program.

Not sure, but good luck with that. I hope you all are having a great christmas. I am up with my family in Shreveport spending time with my dad's side of the family. It was a real risk coming up with all the traffic, I hope we will all remember to pray for those on the road.

I hope we will all remember the true meaning of christmas. I am up in Shreveport with my family so nice up here and pure relaxation, was a risk coming up with all the traffic, but it is so nice to be here now.
