But what's worse is that when asian groups got upset for her doing that, she didn't get all humble and apologetic, she told them to get over it.
The NYPost reports that the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) said,
"We consider this a mockery of the Chinese language and, in effect, a perpetration of stereotypes of Asian-Americans as foreigners or second-class citizens. The use of the distorted phrases is insulting to the Chinese and Chinese-Americans, and gives the impression that they are a group that is substandard to English-speaking people." (which I think is an over the top interpretation of O'Donnell's stupidity, but I digress)
But a rep for O'Donnell said, "She's a comedian in addition to being a talk show co-host. I certainly hope that one day they will be able to grasp her humor."

Wasn't it just a few days ago that O'Donnell was calling Kelly Ripa out for what she considered a slight directed at gay people (which of course was nothing more than Ripa not wanting some dorks nasty, self-pleasuring hand all over her mouth), but I guess Rosie doesn't live by the same rules as those she desires to police.

I am just so fed up with her monstrous ass. She is so annoying, I just feel like throwing up everytime I see her. And it's not about her lesbianism (though what man, woman, or animal would want to see her naked, I just can't imagine). I LOVE Ellen Degeneres. I watch her show often (don't spread that around, it's just that I have time on my hands...often). Ellen is very funny and her show is entertaining. Rosie is just a stor ko (google that).
They could replace the cow in that milk commercial (the one with the aliens looking for Da'iry) with O'Donnell, and nobody would know the difference.

I do not watch the view. I saw this on Michelle Malkin's blog and I thought I would bring it to people's attention. PLease! I did not watch the view before Rosie, and I certainly won't watch it with her.
I only watch ELLEN sometimes, but never the view.

In the end, though, she is a comedian. If the president of the United States said that line, it would be innapropriate. For a half-assed talkshow host, what is the big deal.
