Some of the Post Tarts are going mano-a-mano in a trivia contest at Kieran's Pub tonight. I predict: The Equestrians of the Apocalypse will crush the others teams.
What are some guaranteed answers to trivia questions?
Here, I'll get things rolling:
The 1969 Mets!
King Ludwig the Second!
Three Coins in the Fountain!

We have nearly THIRTY DOGS at the humane society right now, and apparently only ONE dog walker volunteer showed up this morning. All volunteers are SUPPOSED to have a set, scheduled time slot (even just for a couple of hours a month), and some people decided that they'd just skip their shift. Maybe they think the dogs don't PISS the morning of December 8. I don't know. Thankfully, two walkers just happened to show up 'cos they had time on their hands, and it took the three of them THREE HOURS to get all of dogs walked.
I've had new volunteers ask me if we walk in the winter. If we walk in the rain. If we walk when it's 30 below.
I say "Dogs have to go to the bathroom in all kinds of weather. OF COURSE we walk them, every day of the week, no matter WHAT the weather."
