Today is My 21st Birthday!

I have waited for this day for so long. I went to my interview and feel confident with my performance. I do feel subconscious that I told the employer I have basic Microsoft Powerpoint and Access skills. I have proficient Microsoft Word Skills and Excel. I really am good only in Word. Then also I believe my facial expression changed because they told me the job was part-time but permanent employment. I even wore heels. I haven't worn those in 2 years since my cousin's wedding. I am a tall girl. I am 5"8-5"9. Anyway I feel o.k. I can finally go to the alphabet store on my own. Hah really I wish I could have done more for myself. I don't have funds to do what I want to do but hey I am living and breathing.

Living and breathing are pretty low expectations for a 21-year-old. Maybe you should add seeing to that list.

I hope you get the Job, but even if you don't. You're 21! You have your whole life ahead of you. Who knows? what treasures you will uncover through your journey of life? It's only the beginning. Like Dawn, the light is just starting to shine. By 24 my daughter had a husband a son and a career!
