Melrose Place, the TV show in the 90's.

OK, I was a HUGE 90210 fan when I was like 10. So naturally I wanted to watch Melrose Place too when it aired! Though I didn't understand all the sex so I stopped watching it as it was "scary" compared to BH 90210!  Well now that I've had sex and boyfriends I can better understand it!  LOL

Haha so I've been DVRing episodes on Soapnet. I mean I know it's a silly show with a bunch of drama that really isn't much better than soap operas ...but I LOVE it! I watch it every day!  I only started a couple of weeks ago. So I'm way too far into it and will have to watch it again when it cycles through to the beginning.

My DVR of Friday's episode got erased before I could watch it ....I think my DH had a part in that!  So I have to know ....why did "Brooke" (Kristen Davis) slit her wrists? She's playing all "guilt trip" on "Billy" (Andrew Shue) and I have to know why! Was it because of "Allison" (Courtney Thorne-Smith)? Is that why "Billy" is giving her the cold shoulder??

I enjoyed it although I didn't watch regularly. I loved how Michael and Billy went bad after the first season. Marcia Cross played a wonderful psychopath. IIRC, Michael tried to kill her and thought he succeeded but then she came back.

I like Desperate Housewives better but MP definitely was the original self parody soap opera.

Holy crap! That is the longest spam I've seen. Even my email ones use graphics instead of spewing random trash across the screen.

Anyhow, back to the topic ... What is the mate of the DH ? My dearest barely knows how to operate the DVR :)

Let's see, BH 90210 started in 1990. Now I feel old :) I was already out of high school and half-way finished with college by the time it started. You might be able to find the complete series on eBay or Amazon for cheap now. Might be worth it. Brand new, it looks about 30$/season. It aired for 10 years, so you might want to search for a collection instead.

Actually the first seasons of BH 90210 and Melrose Place JUST came out a couple weeks ago! I ordered the first one of MP and I'll get the first of BH after the holidays. I can't wait!! It'll be here on Monday, yay! I am totally vegging all day and watching the entire thing! :p

OMG the first season is soooo corny! The "porn" music they play every time they change to a different scene is just horrible! Now I see how having Heather Locklear on the show saved their asses!
