I am posting this article and these pictures just to show that if at first I don't succeed, I just have to try and try again. Sometimes it takes many, many pictures to get just ONE shot that I feel is worthy enough to share with my Gather friends.
I also posted 2 different versions of the BEST picture to show that sometimes, if you just leave the picture alone... it looks better. A Gather member asked me if one of my pictures had been edited in any way, and I can see why the question was asked. It really DOES look like it was edited. In reality, when I tried to enhance the picture by using my "instant fix" feature on my Kodak EasyShare photo program, it thought it made the picture worse, so I left it alone and posted it exactly the way my camera had captured it.
For those of you who are wondering, I am using the Kodak EasyShare Z650, 6.1 megapixel with 10x optical zoom. I just started using it in October this year, and so far... I like it.
Most of the time, my subject is attacking me, like this:

Sometimes when I get my subject to finally look in my direction, the picture isn't in focus or she's got some whacky look on her face, like this:

Then there's OTHER times when she forgets that she's even being photographed and maybe she thinks this is some other kind of photo shoot? Like this:

Now I posted these 2 pictures (below) because a Gather member asked me to show Bitty's little Manx tail, so here it is:

At times... I get a shot that is halfway decent, but not quite what I was shooting for, like this:
And then FINALLY, I shoot only ONE worthy of posting on Gather, like this:
... and this one (below) is just to show you what it would have looked like if I had edited it, which just goes to show you that sometimes it's just better to leave a photo how the camera captured it:
So, folks... thank you for allowing me to show you how difficult it is sometimes to get just ONE Gather worthy shot.

Did you ask the cat to say "mouse" just before snapping this?
Poor kitty looks like he is wondering "does her camera ever run out of film??
