1.Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
A sip of egg nog....to remember I don't like it so much, then pass the cocoa...with marshmellows, please.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
I haven't witnessed it myself yet.....yet.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
I need a house first and someone tall to hang things or else all the lights will be only 5 ft 2 inches off the ground. But my wish would be blue and white lights!
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
Oh yes!
5. When do you put your decorations up?
When I have a few moments and a happy heart....and I like to hear Christmas music too.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
The washed ones....hee! No seriously....hmmm. Honestly, the one I can share with loved ones. It could be cornflakes.....as long as I have my loved ones around.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child:
Being the Angel in the live nativity or caroling.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
And that would be?
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
If there is more than one...sometimes it would be nice.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
I lost all my childhood decorations in a hurricane. They were my favorite....but I have my babies to make me new ones. I also like to string popcorn and cranberries and I like an angel....like a St. Lucia Angel. Not the overly pretty or blinking light ones. And I like a quilt for under the tree.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
Love it the first day, dread it all the next....unless you have cuddle people with you.
12. Can you ice skate?
Yes, I can. I love to skate....but I prefer roller skating.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
Tuesday Taylor. You could switch her hair color and she could be tan or pale if you put her in the light.
And once a lady made me these snowflakes.....they were white thread...it was starched and pretty. I really liked those.
Oh and a jewellery box....one with a little ballerina inside that twirled around on toes shoes.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
Happiness and contentedness....sharing time with loved ones.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?
Christmas cookies! Pannetone! and Candy Canes! Not so much for what they are or how they taste but rather for what they represent.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
I don't really have one. I have been in transition for so long.... I don't even have one.
17. What tops your tree?
She was destroyed in Isabel...but my St. Lucia Angel. I like Angels.
18. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving?
I like both....you know what I like best? Is when people try to be a little nicer to each other and the anticipation of giving a gift and hoping someone will love it and then they do!
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song?
So many..... After I saw the movie Love, Actually.....which is a wonderful Christmas movie. I really like "All I Want for Christmas"....isss youuuuuuuu! And I like "Santa Baby" because it is fun. But I reallllly like "Away in the Manger", "O Holy Night", and "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" and The Deck the Halls version on "A Christmas Story" Fra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra!
20. Candy Canes or Chocolate?
That is an unfair question. But I think I have the answer..... Mint Chocolate!
