This is a letter my dad sent to me about yesterday. I just wanted to share it with you all, because it is just what I was trying to communicate yesterday in my articles. I hope you all will listen to the words of wisdom that my dad spoke as well as check scripture and never believe anything someone says until you verify it with scripture, don't go by feelings or anything other than GOD'S WORD!
Hey Steven,
I really enjoyed getting together last night. Sorry that I was so preoccupied with needing to get my lesson plans and handouts completed. I meant what I said when I told you that 99% of your comments were wonderful - demonstrating a zeal and growing maturity in Christ and knowledge of His Word. Also, thank you for listening to my minor corrections regarding some of you phrases and ideas:
1. That we cannot know and should not say, "God told me", "God led me", but rather say that "God allowed this opportunity and my decision fits biblical principles", or "If God wills (allows) then I will do this".
2. Rebuking Satan or demons directly is not necessary and is in fact a waste of time for believers in the church age. The good news is that that is God's job and all we need to do is ask God to deal with it.
The link you gave me about the "inner" warfare book based on Sun Tzu's ancient work "The Art of War" does look interesting but I recommend you not waste God's time right now on such books, since you have two other priorities that should take up all of your time:
•1. Personal time in His Word
•2. Study of your school courses (your "job")
•3. Then "Gather" fellowship and evangelism beyond
By the way, the link to Lambert Dolphin's site you gave reminds me of my past correspondence with him. He might even have my sight still linked to his. He and Chuck Missler (http://www.khouse.org/) have some very fascinating Scripture/Science materials.
Anyway, son, I love and respect you and look forward to what you will be doing as the weeks, months, and years unfold. Just be careful that your zeal and energy does not out run the need or wisdom of the moment. God slow and evaluate everything for a long time before committing your heart to it.
Love,
Dad

I will finish my article on God's Extreme Giving, then I will go off in study. If you can see this dad, I just want to thank you for being there for me as well as keeping me on the right track. I know God the Father has used you an many ways and continues to use you to help me follow the path that God has set before me, his good and perfect will.
I hope we will all learn to listen to what our parents tell us and the words of wisdom from all elder people who have lived much longer than we have and want to help us. I hope you will all remember to be respectful and obidient to God and down the line of chain to your parents. I will upload an article later all about God's Hand of Authority, but till I do check out my dad's article on it: http://www.soulcare.org/Counseling/Authority_Hand.htm

May you all have a blessed day full of life, joy, peace, and Love. I hope that your day is going well if not find things that you are thankful for, write them down. Then Thank some of your friends and family as well as God even if you don't believe in him, because he hears you anyway ;)
Stop and think, step out side. Look at the beauty of creation. Think about the Fall and Flood and research them even if you don't believe in them. Be open minded "intelligent thinkers" read and find the evidence, don't believe everything you hear or see, check it with truth and facts. Be a Bearean and read the scripture, before you ever speak about something, I have blundered this so many times that is why I am warning you all to be careful what you post and say.
"As Iron Sharpens Iron so you sharpen one another" Let us all remember that we need each other to hold us accountable and to learn from each others mistakes. Let us all remember the meaning of Christmas, share love with your friends and family as well as the world.
Oh and why don't you open up the bible and read John just one time, see how Jesus is the Word of God and how he has always been the eternal Son of God. Even if you don't believe it doesn't mean he doesn't exist. Like the song by New Song "Can't Keep a good man down" please think about this and if you are a skeptic or have doubts read: "More Than A Carpenter" by Josh McDowell it could open your eyes to the truth if you let it, and even if it doesn't you will understand life better as well as be able to help others when they are hurting.
