There is a problem when I try clicking the word link to the THE RAKU MUSEUM. The link says page can not be found. I got to it by checking the propeties of the link though.

Well, I'm ever learning about Raku. I'm in the process of making RAKU bas relief stuff, and having a never ending supply of problems.

So now I'm trying 3 firings. #1 Bisque, #2 undergaze, #3 clear overglaze with heavy reduction.

If you have tried anything like this please advise. Any warnings?

I have not tried underglaze on Raku, although it should be pretty straight forward. if you do both the bisque and underglaze in an electric kiln, then the only stressful firing would be the Raku firing. I have tried multiple Raku firings, and each one is harder on the clay than the first firing. The most I every did well was 2 or 3 firings, with a large increase in cracks and the percentage of the piece falling apart with each firing.

Good luck, it sounds like a great project. Post some pictures when it is done.
