On to more important things.
Mikey and Jimmy are posting 911 videos all the live long day. Do these guys have jobs? One has to wonder. Me - well, yes - I do have a job. As it happens, I took the week off and here I am goofing around on gather watching these two fools post the same story over and over.
So, tell me how you feel about these moonbats. Should they keep posting or have we got the message already?

I tell you what. Spend some time on the subject. Write something thoughtful that adds to the discussion, then refute the main points. Explain why NORAD was suddenly incapacitated that day and unable to offer any meaningful response in an hour and a half. Explain how molten steel gets into the basements of WTC 1, 2, and 7, and stays molten weeks after the collapse. Offer any meaningful insight as to why FBI professionals suddenly don't have any interest in looking into very bizarre behaviour by mid-eastern flight students, to the point that Coleen Rowley was practically pulling out her hair in frustration. It goes on and on. If calling someone a moonbat does it for you, you may be the lucky one. Put it out of your mind. Something is wrong with "those others out there" which no doubt includes me now, not with your heroic government.

Oh, and recall that Mr. Silverstein is on record ( you can see the NPR clip) saying that they decided to "pull" the building, and they watched it fall". Also the people around building seven (not hit by an airplane) were warned it was coming down. Nobody in the fire department expected it to collapse, but they were warned, presumably by the guys who had their fingers on the button.
You can believe what you want, but your facts are wrong. Building 7 collapsed into its own footprint with the walls neatly on top. NIST, and the rest have yet to offer an explanation for that one. If you can cause that by setting a fire why do Controlled Demolition (the ones with the contract for removing the debris) get the big bucks. Oh, and why did they outfit the trucks removing the crime evidence from the scene all get retrofitted with GPS tracking devices? And why did the temps in the pools of molten steel under each of the buildings retain higher temps than were ever attained by the fires for weeks afterward, as measured by infrared sensors. I have looked at the "other side of the story". All I see are elaborate Rube Goldberg theories that make the alternate explanations look like the soul of simlicity. 19 hijackers masterminded by Saudi Madman managed to defeat the entire military and intelligence apparatus of the sole superpower on earth, and also get its Air Force and Navy and Marine Corps to stand down for an hour or so while they did it. Oh, they also turned a few of the mid-level agents of the FBI, like Dave Frasca, into morons who became enabler of the plot and then got them promoted after they had let it happen. That last one is a really neat trick for a terrorist.
Let me say this slowly. All us "conspiracy theorists" are just questioning the official conspiracy theory. We have questions that have not been answered despite Josh's little fantasy above. We are serious people with less credulity than others, who want to know why serious evidence that the top leadership of our government has committed high treason to achieve previously stated political objectives (which they have achieved, disasterously for all of us, especially the 6000+ American who have died as a result) will not answer the questions, or if they do, do so in a way as to raise many more than are answered. Condi "could not imagine" they would use airplanes, when just that summer they imagined that very thing when Bush was at the G-8, and took many precautions against it. Give me a break.
If we do not act as a nation united, you can expect more war, more "terrorist" acts, and much less freedom. If you love this country, your family, friends, and fellow Americans then become aware of the atrocities that our government has commited and will continue to do so unless we put a stop to it!

I'm a structural engineer, and have viewed extensive footage, and documentaries on the tower collapses. I have personally inspected many fire related collapses, as well as fought many fires since I am also a paid on call fire/rescue worker. One fact is plain and simple, steel with no fireproofing on it lasts a very short amount of time in a fire, especially when it is loaded significantly. The tower exterior walls were actually bearing walls made up of closely spaced steel columns, and relying on bracing at each floor from light weight steel joists.
It is an amazing feat of engineering that the towers did not collapse almost immediately after impact from the jets. The ingenius design of the exterior walls actually allowed enough redundancy in the exterior columns to provide support for millions of pounds of upper floors above impact sites. The fires were plenty hot enough to fail several floors of steel joists, and the exterior columns no longer had lateral support for several floors. The columns buckled explosively outwards as the upper floor sank down on them, and the internal building pressure blew out debries. The reason the towers went down almost straight is because of the very strong internal core around the elevators. The core actually acted like a pole that the building slid down, and the core was pulled along as the towers collapsed.
It should also be noted that the first tower to get hit was hit much higher than the second one, and lasted longer because it had less load bearing down on the damaged portions below. As for melted metal found in the basement, millions of pounds of building crashing into a basement could probably create enough friction to melt almost anything. We know it completely pulverized human bodies, and building contents, and there were fires burning during the collapse.
My conclusion, along with my engineering colleagues is that fire caused the collapse in the end. The impact alone, with no fires, would not have brought down the towers.
All that aside, the FBI, and CIA, and administration failed to heed several warnings, and even leads prior to the attacks, and are certainly responsible in some ways for the attacks being successful. A publicly published national security briefing to the president warned of probable attacks with planes, and yet no airport security measures were put in place. It does make one wonder if it was incompetency, or they were waiting for a reason to attack the middle east. Given the initial attack on the WTC in 1992, you would think we would have some heightened security measures in place.
The other odd thing, is that these were highly trained and knowledgeable terrorists, and yet they attacked early in the morning, when the buildings were not yet even near tenant capacity. One would have thought they would plan their attacks when the building were near full occupancy. There are definitely lots off unanswered questions about 9/11, but I don't believe bombs were involved.
